TurleyWay was co-founded by Dave Way and Tim Hedger, alongside their long-time friend and I.T Recruitment Director, James Turley. For over 15 years, the three shared a common vision: to create a company that not only excels in the industry but also reflects their values and industry knowledge. This vision became a reality in 2019, with the founding of TurleyWay, a company built on a foundation of trust, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

In 2020, Dylan joined TurleyWay, bringing a specialised skill set in Cyber Security recruitment. Dylan quickly became integral to our growth, expertly sourcing talent for critical roles in Engineering, Architecture, IAM, GRC, Endpoint and Network Security, Threat Detection, and Response, as well as in Project and Programme Management. His arrival marked an exciting expansion for TurleyWay, despite the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic opened up new opportunities, prompting us to explore international markets. Through Dylan’s connections, TurleyWay began working with a trusted contact in the U.S., specialising in the highly technical medical device sector. Since 2021, Dylan has established strategic partnerships across the U.S., gaining deep expertise in wearable medical technologies and becoming a trusted resource for U.S.-based hiring managers in this evolving industry.

Tiago joined TurleyWay in 2022 to support leading technology organisations across key organisational appointment both across technology and leadership. Whilst maintaining a versatile approach Tiago has developed a particular focus on Hedge-Funds and other leading finance institutions.

Back home in the U.K., TurleyWay continued its upward trajectory, building and nurturing relationships across a wide range of industries. Our recent successful placements include an IT Director for a premier U.K. property developer, a CTO for a rapidly scaling music streaming company, and a Head of Infrastructure for a global energy trader. We’ve expanded our reach across IT leadership roles within Banking, FMCG, Facilities Management, Fintech, and SaaS.

TurleyWay welcomed Piers in July 2023, to focus on Backend Software and Data Engineering with a strong emphasis on the Financial Services sector. His expertise adds a new dimension to TurleyWay’s capabilities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering top-tier talent across critical sectors.

This year, we were pleased to welcome Tom Mee to the TurleyWay team. With a specialization in Energy and Trading Technology, Tom is focused on supporting hedge funds, integrated energy companies, utilities, and leading financial institutions. His strategic approach helps our clients plan for innovation and drive long-term growth.
