Delivery Manager
Are you an experienced Delivery/Project Management professional with great client facing skills? Can you demonstrate a track record of delivery within the financial services/payments sector? Would you like to join a fast paced growing FinTech business as they significantly scale up their European operations? Do you have previous experience bridging the gap between outsourced development teams and the customer? This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join an established FinTech organisation and play a lead role in delivering a market leading Payments product which is already used by some of the worlds largest banking institutions. This is a high profile role that will work directly with customers to support and manage the product implementation as the business looks to transition from an primarily offshore model to onshore local capability. As the successful applicant you will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing client implementation projects and be accountable for the client delivery relationship including the setting and meeting of client expectations around project scope, project plans, status reporting and operational success of the project. Key responsibilities will include formulating a plan to meet the objectives of the project while adhering to an approved budget and timeline. This blueprint will guide the entire project from ideation to fruition and will include the scope of the project, resources necessary to complete it, anticipated time and financial requirements, strategy for communication among relevant stakeholders, plan for execution and documentation. To be considered you will need to demonstrate the ability to take a risk-based approach to planning and decision-making throughout the lifetime of a project. Be experienced in handling client facing issues, challenges and finding resolutions. You will require exceptional skills at building relationships, both internally and externally and in using those relationships to collaborate or influence favourable outcomes as necessary. Previous experience within the financial services sector is important, ideally you will have a strong knowledge of payments processing, data integration/messaging middleware, financial messaging standards such as SWIFT.
