Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ advanced research techniques to pinpoint and dissect 0-Day vulnerabilities within diverse software applications, operating systems, network protocols, and hardware components.
  • Develop innovative methodologies and strategies to unearth and exploit security weaknesses before they become widely known.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to assess the potential impact and associated risks of 0-Day vulnerabilities on the organization's infrastructure.
  • Create meticulous documentation, including detailed reports, technical descriptions, and recommendations for mitigating identified vulnerabilities.
  • Remain at the forefront of cyber threat advancements, continuously refining vulnerability discovery processes and exploit tactics.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in uncovering vulnerabilities, specifically with a focus on 0-Day vulnerabilities and the development of corresponding exploits.
  • Proficiency in reverse engineering, debugging, and analysing binary code (x86, x64, ARM, etc.).
  • Sound understanding of prevalent software vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and best practices for mitigation.
  • Adept in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, operating system internals, and software security mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated experience with debugging tools, disassemblers, and vulnerability assessment software.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges with both creativity and strategy.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective technical discussions with diverse stakeholders.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Previous involvement in penetration testing, red teaming, or ethical hacking engagements.
  • Knowledge of exploit development platforms and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability coordination and responsible disclosure processes.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation within the security community.
