Quantitative Developer – Investments –  12 month Contract – Temp to Perm

TurleyWay are partnering with a leading Investment Management company based in central London.

They are looking for an experienced Python technologist with knowledge of building trading software and tools. This will entail working with Portfolio Managers, Traders and Quantitative Analysts to develop cutting edge tooling.

Contract details

• 12 month contrac
• Inside IR35
• Office based.

Your Role:

You will be working on greenfield projects to help the Front office team with building market leading pricing and risk analytics platforms.  

You will be tasked with general software engineering as well as working successfully within a scrum team delivering good quality solutions.

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in Mathematics or STEM subject
• Excellent understanding of Mathematical Finance and hands on experience with common quantitative finance   models and techniques.
• 2 years plus hands-on experience in a similar role in the financial sector.
• Superb communication skills and relationship building skills with key stakeholders.
• Python development experience.
• Familiarity with the key concepts of risk management.

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with C or C++ or C#  programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies Angular or React.
• Familiarity with market data vendors
